The Summit Add-On expands the total carrying capacity of your Summit Bike Rack to 6 bikes. It easily installs onto the Summit Bike Rack (sold separately). The Summit Add-On features the same wheel tray, ratchet strap, and stay-saver features as the Summit bike rack.
We recommend purchasing the Heavy Duty Shock Upgrade Kit to install in conjunction with the Add-On kit making for easier lifting.
*Note that when using the Summit with the Add-On kit, the total rack capacity is 270 lb. No single bike can exceed 60 lb on the original rack positions, or 45 lb on the Add-On positions. Check tongue weight rating of your hitch to confirm compatibility with your hitch prior to use.
